N.C.C.

All able bodied interested students may enroll themselves in N. C. C. Attendance is compulsory at Parades on the days fixed.  There is a separate N. C. C. wing for Girls.

National Service Scheme

The Primary objective of N.S.S. is to train the studetns in community service.  N.S.S takes up two types of works.  Regular work and Special Camping Programmes. Regular work begins with the academic year. Special camping Prgramme is organised once in a year.

Various Community activities such as construction of village roads, sanitory works, imparting education on health sanitations, communicable diseases, agriculture, pests and plant diseases etc. are taken up.  The rational Adult Education Programme is also taken up bye the N. S.S volunteers. There is a separate unit for Girls.

Planning Forum

Planning Forum is yeat another venue for the students. The main objective of the Planning Forum is to create awareness among studetns on planning and planned economic development in the country.  Meetings, debates and seminars are being held on planning and other interested topics which alsohelp the students in the art of speech and self experssions.  The Forum also takes up agricultural works and social service activities.

Physical Education

The College provides fecilities for various games and sports.  The students are expected to take active part in these games and sports for which the Profession in Physical Education shall be the guide.  The Annual Athletic Meet is held in the College grounds on a grand scale.

Facilities have been provided for Foot-ball, Basket ball, Voley ball, Cricket, Kabhadi, Ball-Batminton, Shuttle Batminton, Table tennis and Athletics.  A sports council has been constituted to provide impetus to those students interested in sports and games.  The Principal is the Ex-officio President and the Pforessor in Physical Education is the Secretary of the Council.

Students Aid Fund

A sutdent's Aid Fund is constituted with the contriubution collected from the students.  A committee constituted for the purpose distributes this amount among deserving students after inviting application and conducting an interview.

Coaching Centre for Minorities

The Coaching Centre offers coaching classes to prepare persons belonging to educationally backward minority communities so as to enable them to compete in various compatitive examinations for (a) recuritment to Services under Central and State Governments, Public and Private undertakings, etc. (b) admission to Engineering, MEdical, Agricultural Management courses etc. and (c) acquiring proficiency in typing, shorthand and secretarial courses etc.  Prof T. P. Hameed is the Director of the Coaching Centre.

Medical Inspection

All students of the college are medically examined once in two years.  The Medical Officers will visit the college and hostels occasionally.

College Magazine

The College Magazine will be published annually conatining articles of academic interest.  A student Editor will be elected from among the students along with college union election.

Canteen

The College Canteen Provides the students and staff with meals and refreshments at concessional rate.

College Co-operative Soceity

The College Co-operativer Scoeity is at present managed by a Board of Directors elected by the memebers.  Members of the staff and students of the college are eligible to become A clas and B calss memebers of the co-operative soceity respectively, by taking one or more shares.  The value of one share of A calss emebership is Rs. 5/- and B calss memebrship is Re.1/-.  Memebrs are eligible to get dividend declared at the annual meeting of the General Body.  Mr. P. K. Abdulla, Dept. of English is the Secretary of the Co-operative Society and is incharge of the day to-day affairs of the Soceity.
