ABOUT THE BRAHMA KUMARIS
WORLD SPIRITUAL UNIVERSITY
The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University focuses on
understanding the self, its inner resources and strengths, and developing
attributes of leadership and the highest level of personal integrity.
With centres in 65 countries the University has, for the last 60 years
offered an education in human, moral and spiritual values.
As an international non-governmental organisation in consultative status
with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and
UNICEF, the University has organised three major international project
during the last decade. These include 'The Million Minutes of Peace'
(1986), and 'Global Co-operation for a Better World' (1988 - 1991). The
most recent project 'Sharing Our Values for a Better World', launched in
1995, is dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations.
Each of the University's 3000 centres worldwide offers the foundation
Course in meditation and spiritual; understanding, as well as lectures and
Seminars on positive thinking, self management and stress management.
Courses and activities also take place in different areas of the community,
Including hospitals, schools, prisons, business and industry.
All courses are offered free of charge, as a service to the community.
