A good student on the spiritual path passes all subjects with

honours.  This means that spiritual understanding and power from God

have been so well assimilated  that not one of life's many

challenges is faced without equanimity and truth.  The heart is merciful

and altruistic, never giving or taking sorrow.  Feeling are pure; that is,

devoid of any needs or expectations, and these pure feelings are shared

abundantly with others.  You will not achieve this by becoming a hermit

and leaving everyday life; rather, you remain completely in the world,

but a distance from all its vice and negativity.

Now is the time to become such a successful student of life; you should

never doubt yourself in this.  Trust in God invokes His

assistance.  This plus your own determination will create the strength to

progress. God will give you everything you need.
