When we embark upon a spiritual path, we automatically receive a

lot of love from God in order to have the power to free ourselves

from other limited supports.  We are like little babies who don't need

to do anything in order to  receive that love.  But then, as we

continue on the path, growing older and stronger, God wants to

teach us how to use our own head.  So He stands back and

watches: is the child following His teachings properly? Is the child

observing spiritual principles?  He watches to see whether we

study well and change, or whether we become lazy or careless

in the study.

If I am not studying properly, I lose my right to that love.

The love will be there, but I will no longer be able to connect to it.

If I don't study properly - if there has been no integration of

spiritual understandings into my everyday, practical life - how much

further will I be able to go?  I won't be making my life god, so what

goodness will I have to share with others? How can I be an

inspiration to make the lives of others good?  God gives special love

to those children who are ready to help Him and His special task.

If I don't study how can God give me that love?
