GOD'S ROLE
God is the Director of the drama on this world stage, so He knows
everything that's going on in the drama. In spite of this, it is not that He
would just give the whole plot away. He tells us only that which it is
necessary to know. As the Director, God helps us to understand this
drama as it is, and to act accordingly. The drama moves along very
slowly, so we should not hurry or worry. See the drama, understand it,
and play your role. This is the training God gives us.
Previously we used to complain,
"Oh God, you are not listening to me; you are not helping me; you are
not coming to me." Although it is true that God is the Director, He also
has to act out His part according to the plot. This means that God
cannot come even one second before His time in the drama.
God's role at this time in the drama is to enable us to have a relationship
with Him. Being in His company in this way, I can be of help to God
and thereby create my fortune. You start feeling the concern to play a
good role in the drama, and to play it well, without laziness.
